Wild Child

I lost my way
but that's okay
for here I stay

My heart goes wild
quite like a child
I am beguiled

Free of spirit
Can you hear it

The ocean crashing
feel me thrashing

I awake from my dreams
Nothing is as it seems
Between two extremes

Forget the past
It did not last
This life is vast

Go out from here
but keep me near
and have no fear

We co-create this universe
The life we have, not a curse

and let us mend
